Vision

At Parimal – Pracademic Action Research Initiative (with) Multidisciplinary Approach Lab, our vision is to catalyze transformative advancements in governance, justice delivery, human security, development and law enforcement through evidence informed practice solutions based on grounded research to inform policy decisions. The lab is dedicated to contribute to people centric  accountable system empowered and informed society by synergizing academic excellence with practical solutions.

 

Our vision is to lead the charge in pioneering multidisciplinary approaches that transcend traditional boundaries, enabling governance institutions, academic institutions and law enforcement agencies to anticipate challenges, address complex issues, experiment and innovate to find best options through evidence-based practices and policy formulations.

Mission

To create a platform for action-oriented research to inform policy and practice for people centric approach in experimenting and field testing innovations and reformative suggestions to feed policy and scale up strategies based on the field based needs and modalities. This is to be achieved through the following objectives:

  • Create of a community of researchers and practitioners who would work on various action-based research projects through collaborations with research minded individuals and institutions
  • Identify research problems and find evidence-based solutions to build on project-based plan and their implementation mechanisms.
  • Involve grassroots level practitioners on Micro Research formats to develop needs based research to feed policy decisions and to improve practice.
  • Create avenues to organize research activity through institutional support and funding from various government and non-government credible funding bodies which sponsor research and give other facilitative support.
  • Undertake customized research activities, evaluations, surveys and other analytical work based on the demands generated through partner organizations and institutions
  • Follow norms of universally accepted and standards of research ethics to incorporate a culture of work which enables research activity which has ready acceptability in context of methodologies adapted and procedures utilized in conducting research and producing reports, papers and policy documents.
  • Create an avenue for utilizing the research for wider circulation amongst relevant institutions and organizations, publish the research in academic and professional journals and sites for dissemination of ideas and inform policy and practice.
